Concrete Work for Houston Homes
Most of our work is for homeowners with cracked or aging concrete, new builds, or a backyard they want to use more. Pick a service below, or see our full residential concrete services overview.
Concrete Driveways
New driveways, full replacements, extensions, and repairs. Our standard driveway mix is 4,000 PSI concrete with steel rebar, poured 5 to 6 inches thick.

Patios & Pavers
Concrete patios, paver patios, and outdoor living slabs. We build them on a solid base with the right slope so they stay level and drain well.

Sidewalks & Walkways
Front walks, side paths, and HOA sidewalks. We also replace cracked or lifted sections that have turned into trip hazards.

Retaining Walls
Poured concrete, block, and segmental walls that hold back soil on sloped yards. A good wall needs a proper footing, drainage, and reinforcement, and we plan all three.

Epoxy Floor Coatings
Epoxy, polyaspartic, and metallic coatings for garage floors. We prep the concrete first so the coating bonds well and stands up to oil, chemicals, and wear.

Concrete Foundations
Slab-on-grade and pier-and-beam foundations for new homes and additions. We also handle foundation repair, including leveling and pier work.

Stamped & Decorative Concrete
Stamped, stained, and exposed aggregate finishes for patios, driveways, and walkways. You get the look of stone or brick with the strength of poured concrete.

Concrete Repair
Crack repair, section replacement, and slab repair for driveways, patios, and sidewalks. We will tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or a replacement makes more sense.

Concrete Construction for Houston Businesses

Commercial Concrete Services
Flatwork, foundations, paving, and architectural concrete for businesses, HOAs, property managers, and developers. Start here to see all of our commercial concrete work in Houston in one place.

Parking Lot Paving
New concrete parking lots, full replacements, and repairs for retail, office, and industrial sites. Concrete handles heavy traffic and does not soften in summer heat the way asphalt can.

Commercial Sidewalks & ADA Ramps
Sidewalks, curb ramps, and walkways for businesses, HOAs, and property managers. We pull permits when the job needs one, such as sidewalk work in the City of Houston right-of-way.

Commercial Retaining Walls
Concrete and block walls for grade changes, parking areas, and landscaped edges on commercial sites. We plan the footing and drainage before the wall goes up.

Commercial Foundations
Slab foundations for new commercial buildings, shops, and additions. Forms and rebar are set before any concrete is poured.

Commercial Concrete Repair
Crack repair and section replacement for parking areas, sidewalks, and other commercial flatwork. Fixing one failed section is often simpler than redoing the whole area.
How Our Concrete
Projects Work
Estimate to Walkthrough
Every job follows the same six steps, whether it is a small walkway or a full parking lot. Here is what to expect.
Free On-Site Estimate
We visit your property, measure the area, and look at the soil and drainage. Then you get a written estimate with a clear scope.
Demo & Removal
If old concrete is coming out, we break it up and haul it away. We saw-cut clean edges where new concrete will meet old.
Grading & Forming
We grade and compact the base so water drains away. Then we set forms that control the shape and height of the new concrete.
Reinforce
Steel rebar goes in on chairs, so it sits inside the slab instead of on the dirt. This helps the concrete hold together when the ground moves.
Pour & Finish
The crew places, levels, and finishes the concrete while it is still workable. This is when a broom, stamped, or other finish goes on.
Cure, Seal & Walkthrough
The concrete cures, we cut control joints, and we seal it when the job calls for it. We finish with a walkthrough so you can check the work and ask questions.
Why Concrete in Houston Needs Extra Care
- 01
Clay Soil That Swells and Shrinks
Much of the Houston area sits on clay soil that formed from the Beaumont Formation. This clay swells when it gets wet and shrinks when it dries out. The USDA says one common clay soil on the Texas coastal prairie can crack up to 2 inches wide when it dries. That movement can crack a slab poured on a weak base. So we compact the base and use steel rebar to help the concrete hold together.
- 02
Heavy Rain
Houston averages about 50 inches of rain a year, based on NOAA's 1991-2020 climate normals. Wet clay lets water through very slowly, so water can pool around a slab that is not sloped right. That is why we grade the base to move water away from your home and off the concrete.
- 03
Flat Land and Slow Drainage
Houston is flat, and the land drains slowly after a storm. Where water goes after it leaves your concrete matters. On patios, sidewalks, and parking lots, we plan the slope before we pour. That way water heads to the yard, the street, or a drain.
- 04
Permits and HOA Rules
Rules change from one city to the next, and many neighborhoods have HOA rules too. We pull permits when a job needs one. For example, sidewalk work in the City of Houston right-of-way goes through Houston Public Works. We tell you up front what your project needs.

Get a Free EstimateWhat concrete services do you offer in Houston?
We offer residential and commercial concrete services across Greater Houston. For homes, that means driveways, patios and pavers, sidewalks, retaining walls, epoxy garage floors, foundations, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair. For businesses, HOAs, and developers, we pour parking lots, sidewalks, ADA ramps, retaining walls, and foundations. We also repair commercial flatwork. If you are not sure which service fits your project, call us and we will help you sort it out.
How do I choose a concrete company in Houston?
Start with reviews and years in business. Then ask about the concrete mix, how thick they pour, and how they prep the base. Ask if they use steel rebar. Ask who pulls the permit and whether the warranty is in writing. We have been in business since 2010 and hold a 5.0 rating from 23 Google reviews. Our standard driveway mix is 4,000 PSI concrete with steel rebar, and our workmanship warranty is in writing.
How much does concrete work cost in Houston?
It depends on the job. Size, tear-out of old concrete, soil, drainage, thickness, rebar, and finish all change the price. A plain broom finish costs less than stamped or stained concrete. Because every site is different, we do not post one price for every job. We come out, measure, and give you a free estimate. Our quote form has budget ranges from under $5,000 to over $40,000, so you can tell us where you want to land.
Do you pull permits for concrete work?
Yes, when the job needs one. Rules are different in each city, and some neighborhoods have HOA rules too. For example, sidewalk work in the City of Houston right-of-way goes through Houston Public Works. We tell you up front if your project needs a permit.
Do you warranty your concrete work?
Yes. We give a written workmanship warranty. It covers structural defects caused by improper installation, sub-base failure, or workmanship. It does not cover damage from tree roots, soil events we do not control, or misuse. We go over the full terms with you before you sign.
How soon can I get an estimate?
We reply to new inquiries within one business day, and our phones are open every day from 8am to 6pm. Estimates are free and done on-site. That way we can see the soil, the slope, and any old concrete before we give you a number.
